Almost Halloween!!! And the Lord knows, I have had my share of awkward moments, weirdos, psychos, and characters this past month…..is it just the season for weirdness??? Black Cats and Full Moons?? Anyways……

I’m not gonna get into my personal life….the world isn’t ready for that yet….so, I am going to stick with what goes on in my mind instead….

After substitute teaching for the last year, and watching tons of my students get into the YouTube craze….I am finally starting to fall victim myself….well, not really, but I did spend a couple hours on there this past week…..too bad, I heard that there might be future copyright problems with the site….kinda like Napster had…..too bad….cuz the new Napster sucks!!! I remember when the old one hit….I was in college acting like these young kids with YouTube…..spending hours upon hours downloading songs….ah…the good old days…..when there was no such thing as bills and the only concern was homework…

Now, in exciting news….I heard there is a Hot Mom reality show coming up….wow…every man’s dream come true…a show dedicated to hot moms!!! Come on fellas….u know there was atleast one friend of yours that had a hot mom u secretly admirered!!! Shoot….I could name a few myself!!!!

In baseball news…RIP to the NY Mets…..atleast the Washington Redskins of baseball made the playoffs this year….I am so sick of Mets fans bashing the Yankees and how they buy teams….yes, the Yanks do buy teams….but so have the Mets….since the Bobby Bonilla days….the only difference between the 2 teams, is that the Yankees win (year in and year out)…..

How about Steve Lyons getting fired…..this country needs to lighten up…..he said absolutely nothing wrong….even Lou Pinella came to his defense….in case u don’t know the story….Lou Pinella, who is part Spanish was speaking in Spanish on TV and said something about a missing wallet…..Steve Lyons said because he didn’t understand what he is saying that he needs to check for his….FOX, took it as a diss to Latinos, when it was a joke about his old friend, Lou…..The person from FOX that fired Steve, needs to be fired for thinking racist thoughts…not Lyons!

Speaking of sports……how much of a disgrace was the Miami/FIU game last week……

I just have to recognize Jay-Z for being a genius…..not only is he now a spokesman for Budweiser Select….but he has 2 race car drivers in his new video…..great marketing tool….going after an audience that probably wouldn’t buy his records or bother paying attention to him….in more ways than one….u gotta respect that…..that, and the fact the guy came from the projects and is worth more than $300 million…..

That leads me to talk about an interesting arguement I had with someone last week…..He said Jay-Z had it harder than Eminem in regards to making it big in Hip Hop…..I disagreed….I think it was tougher for Em….yes, he blew because he was white….but u know what he had to do to get to that level to even be noticed….know how many other white mc’s have tried both before and after him…….what do you think??

Lastly, what the hell is up with Korea??? And Bush’s stance on Korea….or how about Bush in general??? Now, I’m not gonna bash Bush like everyone else….I, actually like him…not as a President, but as a person…he seems like that cool uncle everyone has…he would be cool to know on a personal level, just not to have as a dictator…I mean King….I mean, President….

Wow…it’s been a week and a half….sorry to my millions of fans that went without a blog from DavezMental last week….anyways, so much has happened let’s dive in!!

First off, the Amish tragedy….what in the world is wrong with this world??? I just can’t understand how a pyscho could hurt a child, let alone 10 of them…..thankfully 5 of them survived…on top of that, why Amish people….they haven’t hurt anyone. Then I read the other day, they (the Amish) were mourning the killer…..what an amazing group of people…..instead of being the butt of us “normal” people’s jokes, we should learn from them….

Then there is Anna Nicole Smith….last blog I was saying how I felt sorry for her…..hmmmm….well, she just had a “committment cerimony,” 18 days after her sons death…..something isn’t right there….is that part of the grieving process??

Sunday, Terrell Owens and the Cowboys got their asses handed to them….how great was that??I mean, I wouldn’t know, because I couldn’t watch the game because my cousin decided to have his wedding 3:30 on a Sunday…who in the world does that?? Let alone during football season…Ok, maybe I am a jerk, but hey, I love my cousin Dan, so I was there….Anyways, even if you hate the Philadelphia Eagles or football, you had to enjoy watching T.O. pout on the sidelines and have an awful game…..that loss must have stung….hope he doesn’t try to kill himself…..

….I gotta chill with this T.O. hating, because I almost picked a fight with one of my students Tuesday….I was subbing for a class and they had to write about who they thought were “America’s Great Leaders.” That’s right, you guessed it….some 16 year old wrote about T.O…..I almost bite my tongue off…..anyways, enough about that….

I could honestly say, I like the new Justin Timberlake song…..Not “Sexy Back,” the new one with T.I….it’s off the hook……too bad he is a brat….speaking of child star brats, guess Fergie is really trying to sell some records….Baring it all on the new “Rolling Stone” cover. Now, only if she had someone to teach her how to spell “Duchess” before her album dropped…..dumb blonde (no offense if You, the reader of this amazing blog if you are blonde).

So, Jay-z is back….he felt he needed to drop an album because he didn’t want Rap to fall like Rock N’ Roll did….thanks, Jay….now only if Hot 97 stopped playing his first single every 15 minutes…yes, it’s a good song, questionable hook, but good song…..but we don’t need it every 4th song….for real…..I haven’t listened to the radio in about 10 years, but started to this past month….I feel an NYC hip hop revival……thank goodness, because I am tired of that crap that the stations have been playing….Truth is Rap sucks nowadays….Like Nas’s new album, which was pushed back for Jay-Z’s new album…hmmm….Hip Hop is Dead…..however, I see some hope….

In old news, I just wanna comment on the Jeanine Pirro thingy….for those of you that don’t know, she is a New Yorker that is running for Attorney General…she and her personal life was all over the news a couple weeks ago…..she got caught asking a cop(friend) to bug her boat because she suspected her husband was cheating on her with her friend…..now, first thing is first…..how this info got leaked, is shady…..second, what is so wrong about that….if my signicant other was cheating on me and had the gull to bring the 3rd party on my boat, u better believe that I am bugging it….just don’t let me catch your ass either…….anyways…..that is neither here nor there…..here is the reason for me talking about this in my blog…..the New York Daily News had an article last week about Pirro’s husband’s daughter……talk about nut job….this girl, who is born because Mr. Pirro (I forgot his first name) cheated on his first wife with the girl’s mother, is telling the press that Jeanine is wrong and that her father wouldn’t do that, he is a great man, etc…..Mind you, she hasn’t seen him in 7 years…..WTF???? I believe in sticking up for your family, especially your parents, but is she for real…..she is alive because her scum bag father knocked up her mother during an affair…..and obviously isn’t that great of a father since he hadn’t seen her in 7 years, yet she is bad mouthing Jeanine…..things that make u go, hmmmmmmmm……I hope Jeanine wins…go out and Vote!

In other weirdo news, Michael Jackson was caught out in public trying to disguise himself so he wouldn’t get noticed…..not only was he with a boy, but he was in heels, yes, high heels…pumps!…..I kid you not, it is on page 25 of today’s New York Daily News…..should I even touch that one….and how come there isn’t more on this….I mean, it really didn’t look like him in the picture, but it is him….oh boy….

Last, topic….for the 3rd time in the last 2 months, a jailed New Yorker, who was falsely arrested for rape was released from jail after serving more than 20 years time locked up….that’s right, these men spent their twenties, thirties, and forties behind bars for a crime they didn’t commit….they were freed on DNA evidence…..my question is, where the hell was this DNA evidence 20 years ago?? How could you destroy someone’s life like that….whatever happened to “innocent until proven guilty?”

Last Sunday, the New York Giants got killed….Seattle roughed them up….and what happens….Jeremy Shockey opens his big ig’nant red necked mouth up and says that the Giants were “outcoached.” Who the hell are these athletes, that they could rip their coaches like this…..It wasn’t Coughlin that gave up 40 something points, and threw 3 interceptions, and dropped passes, and got called for dumb penalties……when are professional athletes going to grow up??

Speaking of asshole athletes…..how great was it to see Terrell Owens humilated by getting rushed to the emergency room….the only thing that pissed me off, was the amount of coverage it got….the publicity was way too much….no way should that man get that much attention…..then they said it was a suicide attempt…..are u kidding me? Why would that jerk commit suicide…..with all the money he makes and all the losers that patronize him….like many of his colleagues said, “Terrell loves himself too much to try to commit suicide.” Now only if he succeeded……damn, was that a messed up thing to say??? I apologized….that’s not nice……the guy does have heart, coming back this week and for coming back to play in the Super Bowl……hopefully, he stays healthy for the Philly game next week…..Hope he breaks more than a finger in that game……sorry, for being so grim and heartless, but any guy who cries on national TV saying that his 7 year, $49 million contract isn’t enough to take care of his family should be slapped in the face….then to act like a baby and call out your coaches and teammates…..if I played with him, I would have kicked his ass…..Who gets thrown off of 3 teams in 3 years….(I included the Ravens)…..anyways….

How about Screech getting caught with a sex tape??? Dirty Sancez and all…..Now, I have no interest in seeing this tape, but I am curious to what the 2 girls look like…..were they hot?? If so, that shows you how dumb girls could be….give a guy some money and no matter what he looks like….he is getting laid…..wow!

Then u have to question our justice system….how is John “Junior” Gotti going to get off for a 3rd time…..actually, u know what….I’m not gonna touch this one…..and for what its worth….I am a quarter Italian….so, if any gumbas are reading this…..remember, I said I wasn’t goin to touch this one….so, please don’t touch me…..fahgeddaboutit!

I just read this morning that Paris and Nicole are friends again….Isn’t that great….now we could all sleep at night again!

And what about New York City trying to ban trans-fats in restaurants??? Are you kidding me?? No more McDonald’s fries?? That’s straight up un-American!! If people want to not die from bad cholesterol and not be obese, these greedy people need to watch what they eat…..In other words, don’t eat Micky D’s every day…..Balance is key…..and for all those obese kids…..kick their asses out of the house, away from their TV’s and Internet and Video Games and make them play outside, like kids used to…..don’t ban trans fats in restaurants….consume them in moderation….Be Disciplined for God’s Sakes!!!

P.S. Anyone else very upset and disturbed that Corey Haim is a fat slob now?? It’s bad enough his career ended 15 years ago, but for him to look like he does is just unbearable! I used to want to be that kid!!!
